It's 10:30 at night and I'm at the grocery store making a single purchase of fucking Monistat. The cashier innocently asks me how I'm doing and I simply can't bullshit a 'fine', what with the itching, burning, swelling, and because this is like the yeast infection of all yeast infections, bleeding . . . all of that combined with the fact that my period is due next week (by the way, the 'P' in PMS stands for 'Pre-' - I hate the damn misconception that we must be 'on our periods' when we're bitchy because it's actually the week before people!) . . . but I kept my response reasonable - 'I've had better days'. The fucker had the nerve to go 'Oooooooooooooooooookay'. I'd like to shove this fucking applicator up his ass.
